Is THCa legal in my state?

THCa is federally legal as long as it’s derived from hemp and the total Delta-9 THC content remains below 0.3% by dry weight, as outlined by the 2018 Farm Bill. However, laws regarding hemp-derived products vary by state, and some states may have restrictions on the sale or possession of hemp products with any THC content. We recommend checking your local state laws to ensure compliance before purchasing any THCa products.

(Though our products are 2018 Farm Bill federally legal and contain less than .3% Delta-9 THC, local regulations forbid shipping to these states: Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, and Vermont.) 

How is hemp-derived THC different from marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana are both types of cannabis plants, but hemp contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, while marijuana typically contains higher levels of Delta-9 THC, which is what causes the psychoactive "high." Hemp-derived THC products are federally legal if they comply with the 0.3% THC limit.

You can travel with hemp-derived products as long as they comply with the legal THC limit (less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight). However, state and international laws can vary.
